Where Will I Live? Tarot Spread for Moving & Relocation
When I first started this tarot blog 10 years ago, I was just dipping my toes into reading tarot cards. It felt overwhelming and intimidating. I had no idea what I was doing, so I started creating tarot spread layouts to help organize and direct my readings. Having specific questions for each card made them easier to interpret.
Ten years later, I still love a tarot spread. But now, instead of reading for myself, I read for clients. My full time job is dedicated to reading cards for strangers. And I love it!
However, nowadays I read tarot for myself far less frequently.
They say not to make your hobby your career — I guess this is a small example of why that statement is true. Now reading tarot cards feels like work. Why would I ask my cards questions for myself when I've been asking questions for clients all day?
It's not that I dislike reading cards for myself. I just don't find it as therapeutic and relaxing as I once did. Now it feels like a job.
With that said, now that I read less frequently for myself, I find I only pull out my cards when I'm genuinely crashing out. When I feel overwhelmed, stressed, or stuck in a chaotic state, I still reach for my cards.
And that's how this tarot spread was born: from my racing brain refusing to shut off and my need for a way to quiet it.
