About Emerald Lotus

 

Hi, I’m Reid (she/her) and I own Emerald Lotus. 

Emerald Lotus began as a blog when I decided to share my spiritual journey in 2016. Since then Emerald Lotus has simultaneously become more ‘me’ and somehow more an entity outside of myself.

Why Emerald Lotus?
The name came and never left. Sometimes I tack on “Divination” or “Mystic” to clarify what we’re up to here, but at its core, Emerald Lotus has always felt right.

Back in 2015, during a psychic workshop, a woman told me I’d one day start a brand with emerald and white in its logo. That very same day, I had a meditation vision with Archangel Raphael who, I later learned, is associated with the color emerald.

The “emerald” piece solidified when I discovered the Emerald Tablets. Famous for the phrase “As above, so below,” the tablets attributed to Hermes and Thoth, carry themes of wisdom and universal truth. Exactly the kind of energy I wanted this work to hold.

The “lotus” was inspired by my love of flowers. I apprenticed in a flower shop for years, and plants have always been a grounding force in my life. Spiritually, the lotus is profound. It symbolizes rebirth, purity, and awakening across cultures.

Together, they just made sense:

🌿 Emerald — knowledge, truth, wisdom
🪷 Lotus — sacred ritual, intuition, awakening

That’s the spirit of Emerald Lotus: a space rooted in timeless symbolism, but always unfolding in new, personal ways.
