Tarot Archetypes in Everyday Life: Minor Arcana — The Aces
We’re continuing our journey through the tarot, and first I just want to say thank you to everyone who’s been following along and sharing your feedback on this series. I originally planned to stop after the Major Arcana, but a lot of you asked for more so here we are, diving into the Minor Arcana together.
We start with the Aces. In tarot, Aces represent beginnings, inspiration, and raw potential. I like to think of them as the seed stage. They’re small and almost invisible, but contain everything needed to grow into something much bigger. The Aces don’t guarantee results yet; instead, they’re that first spark, the “what if?” moment that opens the door to possibility. Each one carries the purest form of its suit’s energy: emotion and connection in Cups, passion and creativity in Wands, clarity and truth in Swords, and practicality and stability in Pentacles.
In this post, we’ll explore how the Aces show up as archetypes in everyday life. Those fresh starts, little bursts of energy, or moments of clarity you’ve probably experienced before without even realizing they were very Ace-like.
