Tarot Spread for Practicing Patience
“Patience is a virtue”
Or so I was reminded my entire life. Well, I wasn’t so virtuous.
In fact, one could even say, I thrived on not being virtuous.
But what people don’t often mention is that, much like anger, impatience hurts the one who suffers from it most.
Living life impatiently, constantly seeking, feeling frustrated - it’s exhausting. It’s wasteful.
I’m not sure when it happened, but after turning 30, I began to notice how much I valued patience. I saw how every part of my life improved when I was able to find patience.
Now, I don’t view patience as a virtue, but rather as a mindfulness practice.
When impatience arises, I do my best to ground myself in the present moment… to find little things worth enjoying, to let life unfold in divine timing.
I believe patience is a natural friend to spirituality. A seamless partner to trusting the divine and knowing everything unfolds as it should.
“I honor my feelings and welcome patience as a gentle guide.
With every breath, I reconnect to calm, presence, and trust in the unfolding of my path.”
